This is an ongoing series, currently there is a flock of around twenty of them that have been exhibited in different formats, last time around in a giant display case like a collection of aberrant specimens. Aberrant because these birds are not interested in our interest in them (typified by the classic encyclopaedic drawings). These birds are bored of us and our needy anthropomorphic desire to project understanding upon them. These birds spit back with glorious indifference, with surreal text interjections in the staged natural settings, glitchy broken jokes and other fragments of shattered poetry, of the kind you might line a nest with.
