The Traveling Exhibition is Visiting Burgas!

Post updated
In the eventful month of August, the team of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation decided to celebrate in one place and at the same time their favorite holidays - the Salt Fair and the ceremony for Annual Biodiversity and Climate Awards'22 - in Burgas by the shores of Atanasovsko Lake. Among them was the opening of the traveling exhibition Caricatures from the 25th Gabrovo Biennial, which will be a guest at symBioticno until the end of August.
We are extremely excited to have been a part of this celebration, which brought together environmentalists, activists, politicians, journalists and businesses, who deservedly celebrated and congratulated each other on everything achieved during the past Year of Biodiversity (from 22 May 2021 to 22 May 2022) .

The exhibition officially opens on August 12 at 5 p.m., shortly before the eleventh Biodiversity and Climate Awards. You will have the opportunity to visit it until the end of the month.
This traveling exhibition is one of the joint initiatives of the Museum of Humor and Satire with our partners from the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation.
In 2022 the Museum of Humor and Satire in Gabrovo celebrates its 50th birthday. This golden anniversary coincides with the 25th edition of the Gabrovo Biennial, one of the largest international art forums in Bulgaria. This year it boasts three exhibitions featuring over a hundred artists from around the world. The theme is Economy of Means, relevant not only because of the proverbial Gabrovo thrift, but also in view of the increasingly critical need to save, conserve and care for resources worldwide.
For this exhibition we have selected a small part of the works selected by an international jury in the Cartoon section. They will make you smile, but they will certainly give you food for thought.
We welcome you at the Museum of Humor and Satire between May 20 and September 30 to enjoy our three exhibitions - the jury selections Cartoon and Contemporary Art, as well as the curated show Sensitivity Training, in all their splendor.
Welcome!
